31 weeks- Her big debut!

So, this week has been a LONG week for mommy! I, unfortunately failed the initial glucose test, so I had to go back to the doctor on Thursday to take a 3 hour fasting glucose test. My "allergies" have turned into a full blown sinus infection as well. We should find out the results next week, so all we can do is hope for the best! After my appointment, me and Ryan went back for our third attempt to see our precious baby girl at the 3d ultra sound place. This time she was a little more compliant, but still not showing us her full face. We got to see her sucking her thumb (and whole hand) and rolling around, and she even laughed at us. She knew we wanted to see her, and she did not want to give in. Seeing her face made us even more excited, if that's even possible! Daddy had a bachelor party in South Beach for Bryant, so we hung out at home and watched movies since I'm not feeling well. The dogs kept me company. As for baby, this week she begins to start gaining 1/2 a pound a week. That is a lot! She weighs about 3 1/2 pounds and is a little over 16 inches long. (They say that's about the length of the mini skirts I used to wear, and hopefully will wear again some day!) She is also running out of room to stretch inside of me, so she's beginning to get into the fetal position. Also this week, all five of her senses are working. Her lungs are the only major system not fully mature. Her skin is also turning pink this week instead of the red color it had been up until now. This is because she is starting to get a little meat on her. Time is ticking away. Almost time!!
