Grandma Lola pulled my shirt back so you could see my bump!

This week, the baby is not gaining much weight, because most of the growth this week happens in the brain. She weighs about 3 pounds and is about 16 inches long, or about the size of a Yorkie dog. The fingernails and toenails are finished growing this week, and the bone marrow is now completely in charge of red blood cell production. She is also starting to shed her lanugo, the hair that is covering her body to regulate her body temperature, because she is now able to do that on her own. I flew to Iowa this week to spend time with the family for Easter. The flight wasn't bad at all, and it was so nice to be with family. Everyone was excited to see the growing baby bump, and baby House and Lola finally got to meet. Jessica threw us a baby shower and we surely were showered with love and adorable gifts! Daddy also painted the nursery this week. It looks SO GREAT! The color matches the fabric for the bedding perfectly. Things are starting to come together, which is so great to see. As for me, I'm not feeling so hot this week! My allergies have been absolutely off the map from everything blooming everywhere. I'm pretty tired, but moving right along.
