16 weeks- Avocado? Sorry...no funny headline for that one!

So this week the baby is approximately the size of an avocado....which seems smaller to me than a large apple, but hey, I'm not the expert! Ryan and I are in Ohio this week for Christmas, and would you believe that I woke up and actually felt the baby moving inside of me on the morning I was exactly 16 weeks!!! It was the most amazing little feeling in the entire world! I really couldn't believe it was happening. It was like a little butterfly inside of me! I'm really starting to show now. Aunt Jordan loves to rub my belly and even kiss it and talk to it. She's so cute and so excited to meet "little Lola" as she calls it. We don't know the sex yet, but Jordan swears it's a girl. We got some of the cutest little baby items for Christmas from Grandma Siggy and from Uncle Gravy. I also got some new maternity clothes from Grandma Kate and Grandpa Bob. We were spoiled. This week the baby is about 4 1/2 inches long and is growing very rapidly each week. The hair is continuing to grow, and the bones are getting stronger. It's jumping around like crazy inside of me and hopefully I'll start feeling it more and more.
