22 Weeks- Spaghetti Squash....she'll be eating it soon!

At 21 weeks, our little angel is now about 11 1/2 inches and weighs a full pound! She is the size of a big spaghetti squash! YUM!! This week she is really starting to look like a newborn. Her lips, eyelids and eyebrows are becoming more distinct. Her eyes have formed but the iris still lacks pigment, so we wouldn't be able to see those baby blues yet! (They better be blue or Ryan is going after the milk man!) This week my belly is SO BIG!! I can't believe how quickly she just popped right out! I know I've been saying it for weeks now, but it just seems like it's happening overnight now! Everyone is coming up to me and rubbing it, and today on our field trip every little kindergartener was asking me "are you pregnant?!" My class has known for a while, and they are very cute about it and continuously rub my belly and tell me how much they "Love Lola!" They all want her to come out now so they can meet her!!! I keep telling them that I will introduce them to her when she comes out, and they want me to bring her in for show and tell. They're too funny! I wore my FANTASTIC t-shirt this week that I got from Theresa at work. It has a little construction worker baby on it holding a street sign that says "Baby Lola Under Construction." It is too darn cute!! I'm still feeling pretty good! If all of the rumors that say when you have reflux then the baby has hair are true, this baby is going to come out ready for "Locks for Love!" I have the WORST acid reflux. Other than that, no complaints. But...guess what I get to look forward to this week.....STRETCH MARKS!! How fun!! I haven't spotted them yet, but they say that this week is the joyous week when I should expect them. OH BOY!!! Daddy is doing well! He's getting more and more excited and is constantly rubbing and talking to my belly now. The weeks are going by so fast now! We really need to get busy on getting everything ready for our darling!
