23 Weeks- Harry Potter?! ;)

So this week the baby is about 11 1/2 inches long and a little over a pound...which is about the size and weight of a Harry Potter book. Very interesting...but I'm running out of fruit! We didn't have a Harry Potter book, so we used our Pregnancy Week by Week book. They're about the same size. She is still very red and wrinkly, but is about to really start filling out. They say this is the time that I (or we) actually start packing on the pounds...fun, huh!? Anything for our healthy little girl though!! We are starting to see her moving from the outside now, and it is so cool!!! VERY EXCITING!! Me and daddy went this weekend and registered at Babies R Us for our little girl. It was a little overwhelming, but we're glad it's over and done with!! According to the internet, I should be dancing and swaying right now, because she can feel me dance. The blood vessels in her lungs are developing to prepare for breathing, and her inner ears are almost fully developed. They say we should start reading and singing and talking to her so she can recognize our voices as soon as she's born. We are getting more and more excited, and are ready to start our preparations for the birth of our precious angel!!
