24 weeks- Our little Wiener Schnitzel!! Can't believe we are 6 months already!

HOLY MOLY!! It's really been six months?! That is AMAZING!! This week little Lola is the size of a foot-long Chicago Hot Dog and weighs about 1 1/3 pounds, and she will be gaining another half of a pound this week. My uterus is the size of a soccer ball...hence the HUGE belly I now have! Maternity clothes are definitely in full effect now! As for baby, a lot is going on this week. She now finally resembles a BABY! Her features are almost completely formed, and her skin is becoming less transparent. Her ears are now fully functional and she is beginning to jump at the sound of loud noises (especially DAISY!) At least they tell me that it's good to have a barking dog around so she gets used to the sound of it for when she is born. I'm feeling great, but am having lots of hip pain this week. BOO!! I think it is because she is growing so fast all of a sudden. Sleeping is still going okay, but I'm starting to feel a little more uncomfortable. After I eat, I feel the need for a breathing treatment every time! There is no longer room for my lungs apparently! I did, however, have THE BEST prenatal massage on Valentine's day from the hubby! What a great dad! He managed to give us both a gift! It was so nice. He has been so great with making sure mommy and baby are being taken care of. The belly is moving like crazy and I think Dance Dance Revolution is going on inside of me, but we are really enjoying it. We ordered pieces of the nursery bedding this week to make sure we like it, and well...we LOVE it! It's a done deal, and we are now ready to begin the painting process. Time is ticking along and it's time to get this party started!!
